"Don't follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." GB Shaw

We aim for excellence in every area with a balance between academic and personal development. We value every member of the school community, and our visitors, and balance rights with responsibilities. We aspire to be a community where all are challenged, encouraged and supported in a safe, yet happy atmosphere, where the enjoyment of being alive in God’s world permeates everything we do.

We aim to provide a stimulating, exciting, happy, caring and safe learning environment in which all children can develop their full potential. Through our teaching and in keeping with our Christian foundation, we aim to promote the spiritual, social, moral, physical and academic development of each child, appropriate to his or her needs and ability. We have high expectations of our children in all aspects of school life.

There are currently 76 pupils on roll, in three classes. Reception and Year 1 are in Class 1, taught by Miss Anna Silvester assisted by Mrs Lorraine Webb. Years 2 and 3 are in Class 2, taught by Mrs Debbie Roseblade, and assisted by Mrs Karen Cairns, Mrs Clare Beckley and Mrs Kim Coleman. Years 4, 5 and 6 are in class 3, taught by Mrs Anne Campbell and Mrs Jan Gaden, and assisted by Mrs Debbie Coombes.

Mrs Patsi Rainey is the school secretary, and we also have peripatetic teachers to teach piano, guitar and woodwind. Music is a strong feature of the school, and we put on two productions each year involving all of the pupils.

We also have a very supportive governing body, led by Mrs Anne McNally, the Chair of Governors, and an active PTA which works hard to raise extra funds.
