14 Jul 2009 - Sports Day

Sports Day was today, with a range of activities done by all pupils in their mixed teams, before the traditional (and not so traditional) running races. There were races for the mums, for the dads, and for pre-school children. Following the presentation to Annabel Manley, of the inaugural ‘Commitment to Sport’ award, the parents took on the staff with a tug ‘o’ war, with the parents winning 2-1. The School was soon able to put things right! The Y6 pupils, with Mrs Brincat, Miss Green, and Mr Warren, took on the parents (and Miss Silvester) in a Tag Rugby match, coming away with a victory by five tries to one.
